The New Boutique Narrowboat – Paper Kite

Our new luxury canal boat, Paper Kite, is a 47 foot narrowboat being built by us at Boutique Narrowboats during 2024. Everything on Paper Kite is being designed especially for our guests – from the beautiful lines of the prestigious Tim Tyler hull, to the interior carpentry in our bespoke style. The design drawings on this page give a flavour of the layout.
This canal boat is the perfect small size for novices but is big on comfort. The king size fully-sprung mattress is permanently set up the in the bow of the boat, so there is no need to make up the bed every night. The bathroom features a roomy shower with designer basin. The kitchen, although petite, is perfectly-formed, with a small combination oven/microwave and an undercounter fridge with icebox. A little induction hob does away with the need for gas on this canal boat.

- Comprehensive boat safety induction.
- Training on handling the canal boat and mooring up.

Each hire includes a full handover on your first afternoon aboard, to show you how to operate Paper Kite and navigate the waterways. Many of our guests are novices and we hope that a holiday on our Boutique Narrowboat will encourage a life-long love of the canals.

- We are at Union Wharf Marina, 1a Canalside, Leicester Road, Market Harborough, Leicestershire LE16 7UW.
- Holidays start on a Monday or Friday at 2pm and finish on a Monday or Friday at 9.30am.
- All fuel included.
- No booking fees.

- £50 Damage Waiver included.
- Your dates secured with a 30% deposit.
